Relaxing Sunday Afternoon

Yesterday was such a breath of fresh air at our house. I taugh Relief Society yesterday, which I thought went pretty well. The lesson was such a good one, on discovering and re-discovering the scriptures for ourselves. It's always a timely lesson for me as I get in and out of the habit with alarming regularity. After church our home teacher came over and gave a nice lesson. Then I was able to sit down and start making jewelry for the Spring show. When Shea woke up he was super happy and just played and laughed with Daddy while I beaded. We just relaxed and talked and watched some TV all afternoon! I didn't even make dinner! We just snacked. What a relaxing, nice day.

Loving Aunt Kim

I love these photos of Shea loving Aunt Kim. We will be so sad to leave Kim, Reilley and Courtney!

I LOVE my "Ryee"

Shea ADORES his Reilley (he calls her Ryee.) She is so sweet to him, he just lights up when she comes over. Yesterday she read him stories and then she was making him laugh. For some reason EVERYTHING that Reilley does just cracks him up - look!

Riding my bike

Now that the weather is nice, Shea wants to ride his bike every day. Daddy got a new bike a few weeks ago and Shea especially LOVES to ride bikes with daddy.

Mommy, Shea and Tigger

I'm not sure who loves who more. Does Mommy love Shea more than Shea loves Tigger? We're not sure because MAN that boy loves that TIGGER!

BOWLING!!!!!

On Friday night Chris said ok guys, get your coats and shoes, we're going out. He wouldn't tell us where (although I had my suspicions when he came downstairs carrying bowling shoes.) We quickly got a lane up at the BYU games center. Shea had so much fun!!!! He loved waiting for "Shea's turn" and rolling "Shea's ball" down the ramp where it would knock down "pins." (Take a look at the scoreboard to see how many pins he was knocking down - alot more than mom!!)

THE POTTY CHAIR!!!

SHEA WENT POTTY IN THE POTTY CHAIR! I can't believe my baby is big enough for this but we think he might be ready since he's been crying lately when he has poopies. He got this adorable potty chair two days ago. He LOVES it. The first day he sat on it for hours (about every five minutes he'd say, "Shea go potty." "Shea sit potty chair.") He's been on it so much the past two days that he can repeat every phrase the chair says: Good Job! Way to Go! All Done!
Yeah Shea - you big boy!!
