Shea got to go on his first camp out a few weeks ago. He and dad went to Malibu Creek for the Stake Father's and Sons. They had so. much. fun! (I LOVE this picture of them!!)

Halftees

Genious! Seriously. Sometimes I want an undershirt, my teeshirt is a little short, I don't want to button my sweater all the way or my pants are a little lower rise - you know what I mean, sometimes you need a longer undershirt. But sometimes, you really don't want that extra bulk of a full undershirt, but you still want the sleeve and neckline coverage. Voila, the halftee!!

Mabel's Labels

Check out these adorable labels. They're dishwasher and microwave safe, the clothing ones won't wash off in the wash. They have bag tags and household labels. But I'm in love with these cute kiddo ones. You can pick the color and the symbol - they're cute and skinny and fit on anything, but they're super durable and won't come off either - they're great!! This blog used to be funny!

Sorry faithful readers. I was just (I have no idea why - and NO! I did not have an hour to waste!) looking at old blog posts and I realized that my blog used to be funny. (Sep '08 was really cracking me up just now.) I apparently used to pay attention to my kids when they talked to me and I also apparently used to have time to blog the funny things they'd say and do. Now I feel lucky if I can get a shower every few days (shh! don't tell) and man does the blog suffer (from the lack of time, not the lack of showering!). So sorry! And thanks for sticking with us even though I'm lame (r) now!! :-)

It was a great day and I can't believe my baby is 6!!! Happy Birthday Shea!!

4 months

He is so sweet! Delicious in fact! We are loving him so so so so so much!! He is a smiley, laughing delight!

Aren't these cute? We found this old hat of Shea's - I'm not sure he loved it, he looked pretty surprised at his reflection.

Already? Really? He's only 6!!!!

Chris went to pick up Shea the other day from school and this conversation ensued when they were walking home:

Shea: When ___'s mom stuck her head in the classroom to pick her up today, I liked her face so much that it made me crazy like a nutcracker.

Chris: What does that mean?

Shea: It's like when you're the only one that gets a cupcake and no one else does... (A little quiet thinking...) Yeah, it was like that.

Mommy, upon being told of this conversation: Oh crap!
