Painting animal crackers

I had to come up with a craft for my zoo lesson at preschool a few weeks ago. Who doesn't want a craft you can eat? So we painted animal crackers. The kids had fun and enjoyed eating their creations. Shea liked it so much that he did them all afternoon at home. The "paint?" Corn syrup and food coloring. Have fun!!

  2. Too cute. Ke'ola's teacher had them paint paper lizards with the corn syrup-food coloring mixture. The best part was when they figured it out and caught many licking their paper lizards--mmmm.
